Meet the Team
Hemant Selvamurugan — Founder & President
Hemant has always been passionate about giving back to his community. Having seen firsthand how financial barriers can prevent young athletes from participating, he wanted to help make sports more accessible. Sports have played a major role in his life, and he has played soccer from a young age. He has competed for the Scorpions ECNL and Boston Bolts and is a three-year varsity soccer player and captain of the boys’ soccer team. As President, Hemant oversees the organization’s overall operations, including managing inventory, updating the website, coordinating emails, organizing donations, and communicating with schools and community partners.
Derek Spack — Vice President
Derek has played sports throughout his life, competing in baseball, lacrosse, and soccer. He played club baseball for the Dirt Dawgs and currently plays both lacrosse and soccer in high school. Derek is a varsity lacrosse defenseman and a three-year varsity soccer player, also playing defense. As Vice President, he helps coordinate SportsGoods4All’s projects, outreach, and community efforts. As Vice President, Derek supports with planning and outreach while helping coordinate donation drives.
Lucas Niles — Social Media Coordinator
Sports have always been a big part of Lucas’s life. He competes in soccer, hockey, and track. Lucas runs long-distance events, plays defense in hockey, and is a two-year varsity soccer player, also playing defense. As Social Media Coordinator, Lucas manages SportsGoods4All’s social media, shares event photos and updates, promotes donation drives, and helps keep the community informed.
Jack Kurker — Inventory & Events Manager
Sports have always been a big part of Jack’s life. He plays first base for Walpole’s varsity baseball team and second base for Energy Baseball, his club team. He has also played soccer in Walpole. As Inventory & Events Manager, Jack helps organize donated equipment and supports community events such as Walpole Day and local fairs. As Inventory & Events Manager, Jack sorts and tracks donated equipment; he prepares items for distribution and uploads pictures to the website and helps organize the team’s presence at Walpole Day, fairs, and other community events.
